CONGRATULATIONS - Well done to Josh Parish, goalkeeping coach for the Under 10s, who has just passed his Level 1 Coaching.
CAN YOU HELP? Do you know someone, perhaps a company, a friend or even maybe you, that would be willing and able to help with sponsorship for the forthcoming Presentation Evening?
Free advertising on the website (approx. 4000 page views per week), plus an article and photographs in the local newspapers is guaranteed.
After putting on a magnificent evening last year, it would be great if we could achieve something similar this year.
If you are able to help please contact one of the Committee (see contacts page).
This season's Presentation Evenings will be held on 6th, 7th and 8th June - put these dates in your diaries, further details to follow.
Web Site Advert - You may have noticed that we have an advertisement for Moonpig cards on our home page. Any purchases made through our link will raise funds for the Cove Youth FC. The cards are great, it's well worth a look, and any orders made before 2pm are usually despatched before 5pm - either direct to the person or to you! [Stop press - thank you to all who have ordered so far - those that haven't why not have a look!!]
CHARITY KARTING EVENING - Cove Coaches and players took on the the English Stock Car Champion and another 9 teams in a Charity Go-Karting race night at Frimley. The Charities were Cancer UK and British Airways 'Dreamflight.' Despite the high standard of drivers and having a very poor driver in the Cove Chairman, Cove 1 came in a creditable third. A fantastic fun evening for extremely worthy causes.
HALF TERM MULTI-SPORTS CAMP - Koo Dumbuya (Cove FC Manager) and his company TK Active are holding another of their popular multi-sports weeks at Crondall Primary school during Half Term to keep boredom at bay! (Click here for full details and booking form.)
Please note that bookings are made directly with TK Active, which is an independent company not part of Cove Youth FC.
ARE YOU A SOCCER PARENT? - We'd like as many of our parents as possible to complete the FA's Soccer Parent interactive online course. It's free to register and take part and is fun to do, however it's also informative and is designed with coaches and parents in mind to provide guidance on specific areas involved when a child joins a football team. The course only takes about 15 minutes to complete and a certificate can be printed at the end.
Fancy a go? Just click the family to register.
