Congratulations to the U9s who won the Hart District Council Under 9's indoor 5-a-side tournament on December 29th. The Tigers played against 5 other teams and got to the final where they beat Fleet Town A! It was the Tigers first tournament win in their first competitive season - well done to all of the players - Ethan, Josh, Jamie, Egan, Taylor, Philip and Luc.

Cove FC Christmas Disco and Raffle Draw, Thursday 17th December - thank you to all those who bought raffle tickets and donated prizes. The draw was made on 17th December and was very successful, with Cove FC and Cove Youth FC making £600 profit each. The Football Association has recently launched the second in its series of Respect films featuring Ray Winstone, aimed at highlighting the pressures placed on young footballers by angry and aggressive coaches and parents. Cove Youth fully supports the FA's Respect campaign, and we ask all coaches and parents to spare a minute to wath the 'Elders and Betters' film. Click the Respect logo opposite...

ARE YOU A SOCCER PARENT? - Parents/grandparents - Please click the family on the left and you will be taken to the FA Respect Parent's Guide. This is well worth doing and if you take the on-line quiz you will be able to print off a Respect certificate at the end.

Start of Season Disco - All players and parents of our Little Strikers up to U11s age groups are invited to our Start of Season Disco on Saturday 12th September, for details see our 'Social Events' page. [27 August 2009]

Cove Youth (Allied Counties) v Woking FC U18, Wednesday 26 August - Cove Youth, who will play in the Allied Counties U18 Midweek Floodlight League this coming season, are playing on the main pitch at Cove on Wednesday 26 August, against Woking FC in our last preseason friendly. All Cove Youth players and parents are invited to come along and support the boys. They will not only add some noise and atmosphere but will see the level and standard they can progress onto if they work hard within the structure this club provides. KO is at 7.45 pm and the clubhouse and tea bar will be open. Admission is FREE for all Cove Youth FC players and there is a minimal charge of £1 for parents to help pay for the 3 officials and other associated costs. [25 August 2009]

Come and watch the First Team - All Cove Youth players are entitled to free entry to any Cove FC first team match, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. The special rate adult entry fee for Cove Youth members is only £4, so come along and support our senior team. The tea bar is open for all matches serving hot food and drinks and you are welcome to come into the licensed club house to catch up on the half-time scores on Sky Sports!
