39 Apr 11 - Churt v Cove Cougars
The Cougars travelled to Churt for their final game of the season and despite missing a couple of players they produced a fantastic team performance.
Right from the first whistle Cove took control and dominated the game. Daniel controlled the defence with some well timed tackles and passed well from the back. Sam also made some strong challenges and almost scored a coupled of goals in the second half when pushing forward for corners.
The midfield trio of Jack, Callum and Liam all continued their good form. Jack worked hard down the wing and grabbed Cove's first goal after Daniel, Jack and Harrison combined well moving the ball from defence to attack before Jack found the back of the net.
Callum passed well, and showed some great close control to beat Churt defenders and create several good chances for the Cougars. Liam had a fine game, making some fantastic tackles and driving Cove forward, Liam also grabbed his 15th goal of the season when volleying in to the roof of net from Callum's long throw.
Harrison was Cove's main striker and was threat for the whole game, he linked well with the midfield and made some driving runs and was unlucky not to score in the second half when a well struck shot was saved by the Churt keeper.
Josh and Mackenzie once again shared the goal keeping responsibilities, due to Cove's dominance Churt were restricted to only a few chances, however both keepers done everything that was asked of them. Josh made an excellent save in the first half and his kicking was fantastic, Mackenzie then continued the good work in the second half, kicking over the half way line consistently and coming of his line well to prevent goal scoring chances. Both Josh and Mackenzie have made great progress this season and it has been a real advantage to Cove to have 2 reliable keepers.
Callum took the effort award for his tireless running and great wing play.
Man of the match went to Liam who was all over the pitch, he made countless well time sliding tackles and scored a super goal.
16 Apr 11 - Cove Cougars v Badshot Lea Bees
The Cougars welcomed Badshot Lea Bees to Cove on a warm sunny morning. The previous matches between these two teams have been very close and entertaining games and this one was no exception.
Mackenzie had another good game in goal, he has grown in confidence this season and his kicking against Badshot was fantastic.
Cove were missing several key players for this match so Harrison, Charlie and Sam played in defence. All three on them tackled well and restricted goalscoring chances for Badshot. They also tried to pass there way out of defence to start attacks for the Cougars.
Sam Drew came in to the team for his first game of the season and joined Liam and Callum in the midfield. The three of them played some great football and were a real threat. Liam shot just over the bar from the end of the box twice, Callum made some great solo runs, put in some good crosses and hit the post with a well struck shot. Sam battled well, passed the ball accurately and made some good runs.
Upfront Cove had Barney and Joseph. Barney's game continues to develope and he defended from the front putting in some good tackles. Joseph speed caused Badshot problems all game, twice he was unlucky not to score when hitting the post, but he got the goal he deserved when running through the defence and finishing well.
Man of the match went to Callum for his hard work and good football.
The effort award went to Sam Drew for a good all round performance in his first game of the season for Cove.
9 Apr 11 - Beacon Hill v Cove Cougars
Cove Cougars made the long trip to Beacon Hill to take on the Cobras in what turned out to be a game of 2 halves, with Cove dominating the first half when kicking down the slope and Beacon Hill coming back strongly after the interval.
The Cougars started with Mackenzie in goal, Mac had a a great start to the game, kicking well and making a super save with his feet. Unfortunately Mackenzie suffered an injury when making another brave save and had to be replaced by Josh midway through the first half. Josh also had a great game making a fine save in the second half when turning a well hit shot round the post. Josh kicked extremely well and actually created a couple of goal scoring chances when kicking deep into Beacon Hills half.
In defence the reliable Daniel and Sam had another good game, the consistency of these two players has been a real highlight for Cove this season and against the Cobras they made some important tackles in this close match.
Cove played some fantastic football through out this match especially in midfield with Callum and Liam linking up well to create scoring chances, Callum passed well and came close with a couple of long range efforts. Liam won plenty of tackles, passed well and claimed a goal when making sure the ball crossed the line after Harrison had shot. Harrison showed his versatility playing both in midfield and as a striker, he worked extremely hard making some fantastic runs, put in some good crosses and scored an important goal when latching on to Josh's goal kick to finish well. Barney and Marc also had good games working hard all over the pitch to support attacks and help out the defenders.
But the man of the match was Jack who had a fantastic game, he played in defence and on the wing and performed well in both positions, scoring 2 good first half goals and then making some well timed tackles to prevent Beacon Hill for scoring. Jack came so close to his hat trick when hitting a half volley from inside his own half which flew like a rocket just past the post.
Overall this was a good team performance from Cove who are finishing the season strongly.
The effort award went to Harrison for his hard work all over the pitch and well taken goal.
Rushmoor Community Hawks made the short trip to take on Cougars who were without Barney and Harrison.
However Cove did have their in form keepers Josh and Mackenzie, both players have improved greatly over the course of the season and once again they both had good games, handling and kicking well.
Daniel and Sam formed a solid defencive partnership reading the game well and making hard but fair tackles to limit goal scoring chances for the hawks.
The midfield trio of Callum, Liam and Jack all had fine games and produced some good passing football and all 3 managed to get on the score sheet. Jack blasted in to the roof of the net with a right footed half volley, Callum unleashed a long range drive that was to powerful for the keeper to handle and Liam reacted well to slide in at the far post to round of a god Cove move.
Upfront Marc had one of his best games of the the season, he made good runs, held the ball up well and made some fantastic passes to create goal scoring chances.
Charlie made his debut for the Cougars and had a very impressive game, he battled hard, passed well and was unlucky not to score a couple of goals.
The man of the match award went to Marc for his hard work and good forward play.
The effort award went to Jack who got back to help out the defence and forward to score an excellent goal.
The Cougars were away to Fleet Spurs to take on Boca Juniors and produced a fine performance in what was a very close game.
Cove had their tried and tested defence of Jack, Sam and Daniel and once again all 3 had good games. Sam and Jack made numerous well timed tackles and Daniel nearly scored but shot just wide when pushing forward to support a Cove attack.
Callum, Liam and Barney played in the midfield and produced some good passing football combined with excellent battling and desire to create several goal scoring chances. In particular Barney produced one of his best performances of the season making some great tackles earning himself the effort award.
Up front Marc and Harrison both made good runs and found space, Harrison was unlucky not to grab a couple of goals and Marc scored a great first half goal winning the ball from a Fleet defender before finishing well.
Mackenzie was in goal for the first half and had another solid game, kicking well and holding on to shots when needed.
But the man of the match was Josh who took over between the sticks in the 2nd half and had a fantastic game making 3 superb saves. One he bravely saved when faced with 3 Fleet forwards, and another he ran off his line to save brilliantly when a striker was 1 on 1.
The Under 7's travelled to Rushmoor to take on the very impressive Jets. The Cougars tried out a new formation with Jack, Sam and Daniel in defence and all 3 had fantastic games, not only did they make countless great tackles but they are now trying to pass their way out of defence to start Cove attacks.
Callum, Harrison and Liam played as the front 3 and they also had great games taking the ball from the defence and hitting Rushmoor on the break with good dribbling and quick passing.
Callum worked particularly hard and was unlucky not to score when a he hit a great shot from 20 yards which was well saved by the Rushmoor keeper. Liam and Harrison were also unlucky not to score as their shots flew just wide. In goal both Josh and Mackenzie continue to improve week by week, and both produced good saves and kicked well against Rushmoor. Marc and Barney came on in the second half to freshen up Cove and both contributed to a very good team performance.
The man of the match award went to Sam who made numerous tackles and blocked several goal bound efforts.
The effort award went to Callum who was a real threat to the Jets with his ability to beat a defender and accurate passing.
12 Mar 11 - Cove Cougars v Fleet Town Raiders
The Under 7's welcomed Fleet Town to Cove for what turned out to be a challenging match for the Cougars. Cove had Mackenzie in Goal, Sam and Daniel in defence, Callum, Liam and Jack in midfield and Harrison, Marc and Barney upfront.
Cove battled hard and played some good football against a competitive Fleet side, star of the show and man of the match for the Cougars was Mackenzie who made some fantastic saves including diving down to the bottom corner to stop a certain goal.
The effort award went to Sam who had a great game and made several last ditch tackles to stop Fleet attacks.
5 Mar 11 - Cove Cougars v Badshot Lea Bees
The Cougars travelled to Badshot Lea Bees in what turned out to be another very close match. Cove experimented with a different formation playing 4 across the midfield and produced a good all round performance combining excellent football with real determination.
Cove had Josh in goal for the first half and he made some great saves including diving down to the bottom corner to stop a certain goal just before half time. However the Bees did score the games first goal after Josh made another good save but the Badshot forward followed in to tap the ball in. Despite this Cove created more chances and were unlucky not to score on several occasions including Jack hitting a good shot just wide and Callum smashing a Gareth Bale style free kick against the post.
Throughout the game Cove continued to play well all over the pitch, with Daniel marshaling the defence and Sam making a great tackle when a Bee's striker was through on goal. In midfield Liam held the middle of the pitch making lots of great tackles and produced several good passes to create goalscoring chances. Out wide Callum and Jack were always a threat combining well with the forwards, putting in good crosses and making great runs down the wing. Harrison, Marc and Barney showed their versatility playing both midfield and upfront and all worked exceptional hard, with Barney making some great tackles. Marc ran and ran and was always a goal threat, and Harrison dribbled well and was denied a great solo goal when he was brought down just outside the area following a long run. Mackenzie took over in goal for the 2nd half and he also made some good saves and kicked well.
Despite Cove's good play Badshot scored again before Liam got the Cougars first goal of the day when he shot well from the edge of the box. Badshot then forced the ball home from a corner before the Cougars scored the goal of game, Liam won the ball in the middle of the pitch and passed out wide to Harrison who blasted the ball first time in to the bottom corner from well outside the area.
All in all it was a great match with 2 good footballing and well matched sides.
Liam took both the man of the match award and the effort award for a great all round performance including hard work, good passing and a fine goal.
26 Feb 11 - Cove Cougars v Churt JFC
The Cougars were at home to Churt JFC on a wet and miserable morning. Cove had Mackenzie in Goal, Sam and Daniel in defence, Callum, Liam and Jack in midfield and Harrison upfront. Despite the weather the first half was very enjoyable with Cove playing some great football in the mud. Daniel and Sam made several good tackles and tried to pass the ball out from the back. The midfield trio battled hard but also played good football, making good passes and looking for space out wide. Up front Harrison made some good runs but was well marked by 2 disciplined Churt defenders. Despite Cove's good play Churt were dangerous throughout and kept MacKenzie busy in the Cove goal. Unfortunately MacKenzie could do nothing about Churt's first goal when their striker finished well hitting Cove on the break.
However Cove hit back putting Churt under pressure and were rewarded with a penalty that Callum tucked away shortly before the break. In the second half Barney and Marc came on to offer Cove an increased threat going forward. Marc was particularly dangerous showing great close control when making several good runs through the Churt defence.
Midway through the second half Churt struck again, scrambling the ball home despite Mackenzie's best effort to stop the ball crossing the line.
Man of the match went to Marc for his excellent dribbling and hard work, the effort award went to MacKenzie for his all action display in Cove's goal.
19 Feb 11 - Alton United v Cove Cougars
Cove Cougars visited Alton United to take on the Predators on a cold and wet morning. Unfortunately the weather made the pitch very boggy and playing conditions were extremely difficult.
Despite the condition of the pitch Cove played very well and produced an excellent passing game from defence to attack.
Mackenzie kept goal in the first half and although he had a quiet half he did everything right and once again his goal kicks were excellent. Daniel, Jack and Sam were Cove's defenders for the match and all three had great games, with Jack and Sam tackling well and Daniel putting in a Rio Ferdinand like performance taking the ball forward from defence in a calm manner and passing to the midfield to start attacks.
In midfield Liam, Callum and Harrison produced some great moves, benefiting from all their hard work in training, they passed well and then moved in to space to look for the ball again. Half way through the first half Callum delivered a fantastic corner which Harrison poked home for Cove's first goal. Upfront Marc and Barney kept the Alton defenders busy working hard and Marc was unlucky not to score when shooting wide in the second half. However shortly after Cove got their second goal when Liam forced the ball in to the net following a goal mouth scramble.
Josh took over in goal for the second half and he also kicked well, however the save of match came in the last minute when Josh dived at full stretch to grab the ball on the goal line to prevent a certain goal. Alton appealed for the goal but without the availability of goal line technology the ref agreed Josh had stopped it just in time.
Man of the match went to Daniel for his great play from the back.
The effort award went to Liam for his non stop running and determination to score a goal.
12 Feb 11 - Cove Cougars v Yateley Green Juniors
Yateley Green Juniors were the visitors to Cove this week to take on the Cougars. Cove started with Mackenzie in Goal, Sam and Daniel in defence, Callum, Liam and Jack in midfield and Harrison and Barney upfront. The first half was very competitive with lots of good tackling, and although Cove had lots of possession and created a few good chances they were unable to beat the Yateley defence and mid way through the first half Yateley hit Cove on the break to score a good goal.
At half time Darren implemented some tactical changes to combat Yateley's unique formation of leaving a striker in Cove's goal area for the whole match.
Josh took over in goal after the break and made some good saves and Marc came on upfront to add an extra threat. However the second half continued much as the first with Cove battling hard in a physical match and dominating possession but struggling to create clear chances in the final third.
Man of the match went to Jack for his hard work on the wing and the effort award went to Sam for his Jamie Carragher like tackling.
5 Feb 11 - Badshot Lea Bees v Cove Cougars
Cove Cougars travelled away to Badshot Lea to play the Bees in what turned out to be a game of 2 halves. It was also one of the most entertaining and closely fought games of the season. Battling against a strong wind and playing up a steep slope Cove were put under pressure in the first half and the Bees scored 2 well taken goals. However Cove battled hard against the elements and created a few good chances on the break. In goa,l Josh kicked very well to relieve the pressure and came off his line well to stop a Bees attack, in defence Daniel and Sam battled hard to stop further goals and keep Cove in the match, Sam made some great tackles and Daniel covered well.
After the break it was Cove's turn to apply pressure as they created chance after chance with the midfield of Jack, Barney, Callum and Liam passing well and making good runs. Barney made some good tackles, Jack had a half volley fly just past the post, Callum crossed well and also had a well struck shot go just wide, Liam had 3 or 4 long range shots go close before he scored Cove first goal of the game tucking away a through ball from Harrison.
Cove's sole striker was Harrison, who made lots of runs and was a threat to Badshot for the whole game, and midway through the second half he got his reward with a well taken goal.
This was Harrison's 15th and Liam's 10th goals of the season. If Carroll and Torres are worth £85 million how much Harrison and Liam?
Despite Cove's dominance in the second half Badshot Bees remained dangerous on the break, but fortunately for Cove MacKenzie had his best game of the season, making a few great saves including holding on to a well struck free kick. Mackenzie's kicking was also superb, kicking deep into the opposing half with every kick.
Man of the match went to Liam for a good all round performance and a well taken goal.
The effort award went to Sam for his non stop running and tackling.
29 Jan 11 - Farnborough Youth Hawks v Cove Cougars
Cove Cougars made the short trip to Farnborough to play the Hawks, Cove continued their fine form last week with another good all round team performance. Once again every single player played their part as they now understand their positions and put in to practice what they learn in training. On a very old day Josh and MacKenzie again shared the goalkeepers gloves and although they weren't to busy they both played their part and done their jobs well with their goal kicks a real advantage to Cove.
In defence Daniel had another solid game making tackle after tackle, but he also now starting to make runs forward adding an attacking edge to his game. Sam partnered Daniel at the back again and he continues to improve as he is now starting to take time on the ball and look for a pass, in fact one of Cove goals was started by Sam when he broke up a Farnborough attack and passed out wide starting a Cove attack.
In midfield Callum, Jack and Liam all had impressive games, Callum made several good passes one of which was a great through ball to Harrison which lead to Cove's first goal shortly after Farnborough had scored with a good shot deflected past Callum was also unlucky not to score a superb solo goal when he dribbled around two Farnborough defenders but couldn't get his shot away.
Jack played on the left wing again and on the day was Cove's main goal scoring threat, scoring 2 great goals, his first was blasted in to the roof of the net from the edge of the box and he's second was a good lob over the keeper from even further out.
Liam had a busy game in the centre of midfield making loads of tackles and some good passes, he also had a couple of good shots and rounded off the scoring just before the final whistle with a calm finish into the bottom corner.
In the absence of Barney and Marc, Harrison played upfront on his own and worked really hard not only was he a goalscoring threat but he also got back and helped out the midfield when needed. Harrison also scored another good goal running on to a through ball and finishing well past the Hawks keeper.
Man of the match went to Jack for his 2 great goals.
22 Jan 11 - Cove Cougars v Hart Sharks
The under 7 Cougars welcomed Hart Sharks to Cove for their latest match and produced one of their best displays of the season. Cove were good all over the pitch and every single player played their part, everyone battled hard for the ball, but also kept their shape, passed well and worked as a team. Josh and MacKenzie both kept goal confidently and kicked well, with Josh making one the saves of the season when coming of his line to dive at the feet of a Hart striker.
Daniel and Sam had another impressive game in defence and their partnership at the back continues to develop well. The combination of Sam's strong tackling and Daniels calmness and reading of the game limited goalscoring chances for Hart.
In midfield Barney continues to improve and becomes more involved each game, As always Jack had a solid game on the left wing making numerous runs, countless tackles and several good crosses. On the right wing Callum continued his good form from last week and is really developing well, his passing, crossing and corners make Cove a real threat going forward, In the middle Liam had one his best performances for several weeks and covered the whole pitch making lots of tackles and was unlucky not to score when hitting the post with a left footed shot.
Upfront Marc's and Harrison both had excellent games and both got on the score sheet in style. Harrison scored in each half, bursting through the hart defence to score early in the match and hitting a hard low shot from distance in to the net midway through the second half. Marc's goal was equally impressive, taking the ball near the halfway line, then beating the defenders for pace before shooting across the keeper into the bottom corner.
Man of the match went to Marc for his great goal and for following Darren's instructions, the effort award went to Josh for his bravery when making his save.
A very impressive all round performance, well done Cougars.
15 Jan 11 - Alton United Pumas v Cove Cougars
The under 7s had their first match since November 20th due to the bad weather when the Cougars travelled to Alton to play the Pumas. Cove started slowly following their long layoff and Alton scored the first goal of the match early in the first half. As the game went on Cove started to pass more and keep their positions, with Callum making several good runs and putting in some great crosses. Cove then scored mid way through the half when Liam cut inside and hit a good shot come cross, the ball took a deflection from an Alton defender and headed towards the net, as the keeper tried to stop the ball crossing the line Harrison ran in to make sure of the goal. Liam and Harrison both claimed the goal but personally I thought oggy.
The rest of the first half Cove played well with Sam and Daniel making some solid challenges and good clearances from defence, The midfield took control with Callum and Jack very effective on the wings with both passing well. Up front Marc and Barney both worked hard creating several good chances. Josh and Mackenzie shared the keepers gloves and both had good games, Josh kicked well and it was from one of his long kicks that lead to Cove's second goal with Marc racing through and slotting the ball past the keeper.
In the second half both teams tried hard on a very heavy pitch with chances for both teams, Marc shot just wide for Cove and Alton came close to scoring but Mackenzie dived at the feet of their striker. With the final whistle nearing Alton scored a deserved goal from the penalty spot.
Man of the match deservedly went to Callum, who had a great all round game, he battled hard, made great runs and put in some good crosses and corners.
20 Nov 10 - Hart Sharks v Cove Cougars
The under 7s travelled to Hart Sharks, for their 10th game of the season, looking to build on last week's performance.
Cove started brightly,creating chances & passing the ball well. Playing against a physical Hart side, Cove were forced to make an early change that proved to be a good tactical change. Joseph having come on scored 2 quick goals. Cove were seeing plenty of the ball with Callum & Jack on the wings, Callum having put in some excellent corners. Sam & Daniel were excellent at the back making crucial tackles. Harrison was battling hard in the centre of midfield. Mark & Barney were doing plenty of running off the ball, creating space. Just before half time Hart got a goal back by a cruel deflection. Josh in goal was commanding his box & his kicking was excellent.
At the start of the second half Hart came at us, making Mckenzie in goal for the second half into making some crucial saves. But it was Cove that scored the next goal by Harrison from the penalty spot. He hit the ball with such power the goal keeper didn't even see it!
MoM went to Sam for excellent tackling & reading of the game.
PS we are starting to play football that make parents very proud !!!!!!!!!!
13 Nov 10 - Cove Pumas v Alton United Pumas
The under 7s welcomed Alton United Pumas to Cove. The first half has was very competitive with both teams playing well and creating some good chances, one of which lead to Cove's first goal with Harrison shooting in to the bottom corner. In goal for Cove was Josh who had a brilliant game, he kicked really well and made a good save in the second half. In defence Sam partnered Daniel and both players put in some good challenges and cleared the ball well. In midfield Liam made lots of tackles and was unlucky not to score when the Alton keeper made a great save from a well struck shot. On the wings Callum and Jack continued their good form and made some good runs and put in some great crosses. Upfront Marc worked hard and never stopped running and Barney really got involved and had his best game so far for the Cougars.
Early in the second half Cove scored their second goal as Harrison broke through and found the net for his tenth goal of the season. Barney then scored his first ever goal for Cove finishing off a good move midway through the first half. Barney also picked up the man of the match trophy for his effort and is really growing in confidence.
6 Nov 10 - Cove Cougars v Alton United Predators
Alton United Predators were visitors to the Cove Cougars. Cove started the game very brightly with 2 goals in the first 2 minutes from Marc and Harrison. Harrison then scored his second goal midway through the first half taking his total for the season to 8. For the rest of the first half Cove tried hard but struggled to find their passes as players adapted to a new formation and new positions.
The second half was much improved with Josh and MacKenzie both playing well in goal, In defence Daniel was solid as usual and made several tough tackles. The midfield of Jack, Liam, Sam, Harrison and Callum started passing better and created some good chances resulting in Cove scoring two very good goals with both Jack and Callum hitting good shots from distance. Up front Marc and Barney ran and ran and Cove had a further goal disallowed after a determined run by Liam.
The man of the match award went to Jack who played very well in a new position and scored his first goal of season.
30 Oct 10 - Mytchett Athletic Kestrels v Cove Cougars
For the second week running Cove under 7s played the impressive Mytchett Athletic Kestrels. The game started badly for Cove with Mytchett scoring 2 early goals, one of which was a great free kick in to the top corner. Cove then came back into the game with Daniel scoring his first goal of the season blasting his shot in off the underside of the crossbar. The next 10 minutes was very competitive with both sides having chances. Joseph worked hard upfront for Cove earning himself the effort award and came close to scoring when he shot just wide in the second half. Cove then began to tire as Mytchett took control creating several goal scoring chances, however Daniel made tackle after tackle in defence to get a well deserved man of the match trophy.
The rest of the Cove team Josh, Mackenzie, Jack, Liam, Callum, Harrison, Sam and Marc all battled hard and never gave up in what was a difficult match for the Cougars.
23 Oct 10 - Cove Cougars v Mytchett Athletic Kestrels
Mytchett Athletic Kestrels visited Cove for a very close game between two good footballing sides. Mackenzie had a fine game in goal, his kicking has improved greatly and he even saved a well struck penalty.
In defence Sam and Daniel battled well and made several good tackles to prevent goalscoring chances. In midfield and Liam, Callum, Jack and Barney passed well, looked for space and put in some good crosses. Up front Joseph worked really hard and made some great solo runs.
In a really competitive match Cove created some good chances with Liam forcing a save from the Mytchett keeper and Jack and Callum shooting just wide. Mytchett also played some brilliant football and scored 2 good goals.
Man of the match went to MacKenzie for his superb goalkeeping and Jack was awarded the effort trophy for his non stop running and tackling.
16 Oct 10 - Cove Cougars v Rushmoor Saints Rockets
Cove Cougars welcomed the Rushmoor Saints Rockets for their 5th game of the season. The game started evenly with both sides playing well and creating chances, Josh took the goalkeeping gloves for the first half and kicked amazingly well clearing the half way line on several occasions. MacKenzie took over in goal for the second half and made a couple of great saves and his kicking improved as the game went on. In defence Jack and Daniel's partnership again proved solid, both players are really developing well and their reading of the game and the number of tackles they make is excellent.
In midfield Sam continued where he left off last week and made several good challanges. Upfront Marc and Barney worked hard defending from the front and kept the Rushmoor defenders busy. On the wings Callum and Harrison found lots of space, passed the ball well and linked up with the forwards to good effect. This enabled the Cougars to create lots of goal scoring chances and Liam scored 2 good goals in the first half. Rushmoor also scored a nice goal on the break with the last kick of the first half.
In the second half more good football was played and more chances created with 3 further goals scored. Liam added another 2 taking his total for the match to 4 and Harrison grabbed the other.
The man of the match award went to Liam for his 4 goals and Calluim was awarded the effort trophy for his non stop running.
The Cougars played their first match of the season against Alton, it was a great team performance and everybody played their part. Callum scored the first goal from near the half way line. Liam and Harrison went on to score 2 goals each and Mark also found the back of the net. Sam, Daniel and Jack tackled brilliantly in defence while Josh and McKenzie made good saves in goal.
Man of the match went to Harrison for his non stop running.
